America 250 T-Shirt Design Contest Rules and Regulations

  • The contest is open to all students in Grades 7 through 12.
  • The design must be original.
  • The design must be representative of Hocking County while incorporating the America 250 Celebration theme.
  • Designs must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday October 31, 2025 for consideration.  Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Contestants must submit their artwork to https://america250.hocking.info/form/t-shirt-design-contest and complete the entry form with their submission.
  • The Hocking 250 Planning Committee will select the Top 5 entries to be submitted for public voting through on-line social media platforms.
  • Voting begins Thursday November 6, 2025 and continues through Tuesday December 2, 2025.
  • The winner will be announced during the commissioner’s meeting on Thursday December 4, 2025 with the Top 5 designers present at the meeting.

Prizes

1st Place - The winning design will become the official logo for Hocking County throughout the 2026 calendar year.  Winner will receive a complimentary T-Shirt with their winning design, a commemorative coin, and a $100 saving’s bond.

2nd Place through 5th Place - Winners will receive a complimentary T-shirt with the winning design and a commemorative coin.
